Good bike for starter, July 5, 2012 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Fixed Gear Single Speed Track Bike - Fixie (Misc.) I've done a lot of research online finally end up noticing this bike. It is an good bike for the starter definitely.
Pros: Sharp looking, Light, Easy to assemble.
Cons: Parts are cheap(worth the money) but easy to upgrade.
Packaging is good. All parts are covered with plastic covers or proper protection and it reached my home unharmed at all. Though the box had some piercing.
I'll recommend this bike to anyone who is new to a rode bike.
Received today and put together..., July 10, 2012 By Station Wagon "Richard" (Algonquin, IL USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Fixed Gear Single Speed Track Bike - Fixie (Sports) UPS dropped off box this morning, July 10th 2012, I hurried and pulled all parts out and was not surprised there was some assembly. All parts were enclosed, everything went together in about 20 minutes. I have some bike assembly experience so I did not need instructions (which were not included by the way). All painted surfaces were protected by thick foam and I had no scratches (They must read feedback because everyone complained about that). The only surprise I had were the presta tire valves- I had never heard of them before and needed air in the rear tire but have to wait until I get an adapter for a "normal" air hose to fit. presta valves are half the size of standard air valves- I hope someday to change to a "normal" tube with regular valves- don't know that yet! So all in all this was a good bike that was not too expensive, it goes and it stops while looking pretty good. I will review comfort and reliability after I have owned it longer, adios til then.

I haven't been on a road bike for years I've just made do with my mountain bike. The difference is incredible, this bike is fast on the road and requires much less effort than my mountain bike.
Assembly was easy, I just had to attach the front wheel, saddle and pedals. It took me about 30 minutes.
Overall, I doubt there are many single speed or fixed gear bikes as good as this one which can be shipped to your door for the same price. Those who are looking for a good single speed starter bike should look no further.
