Solid product, September 10, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Bern 2011 Men's Macon Summer Skate Hardhat (Sports) Good fit. Comfortable. Decent price. Not a 'bobble head' type which I appreciate a lot. Although this is not a 'typical' helmet. In fact it comes with an explicit note in the written materials that this is 'not a helmet' The form inside is a softer type than a normal helmet, built for several lower force impacts (skating) instead of one large impact. I still wear it on a bicycle, it is still good protection.

It isn't much different from any other skate helmet. But the worst thing is hidden inside. The manufacturer used a spray glue to attach thin fabric liner to the foam. After an extensive riding, the mixture of sweat and glue will be haunting you. Especially at the rear, closer to the neck.
I tried to wash the helmet inside, but the liner immediately peeled out that only got nearer an inevitable end of the product: became a garbage.
